Tropico 5 is a complete version of the island-building game that includes not only the game but also twelve additional DLC packs for a low price. In Tropico 5, you play as a dictator who is supposedly at the mercy of a small island nation. With the help (and sometimes frustration) of your confused subordinates, you must build and manage the economic and political situation of your island over time. DLC packs add new routes, opportunities, and campaigns.
Like its predecessors, Tropico 5 Complete Collection starts out pretty simple, but once you get into the swing of things, you'll be able to use a variety of things in your banana land. This level of depth will appeal to players who enjoy this type of strategy and management games, but it can be daunting for new players, although the game does draw you in well. Graphically, Tropico looks solid, with beautiful colorful backgrounds. It's nice to be able to log in and see your citizens walking the streets (or running from the secret police).
