Now with the LEGO comic, LEGO City Undercover is a satirical cop movie where Chase McCann is an undercover agent who must go undercover to fight criminals from the inside. Each outfit gives new skills or abilities. Giving you access to new areas or unlocking new items.
The open world and unique vehicles give the game a grand theft auto feel, but with a kid-friendly tone. LEGO City Undercover may be one of the best LEGO video games ever. But it didn’t work so well. Even the best hardware can experience issues and lag when dealing with large loading screens. Despite these issues however the intelligence and fun of the game is still evident.
LEGO City Undercover offers bright, shiny locations and vibrant characters. However, on Windows systems, some users report technical glitches - such as occasional crashes, slow frame rates, and loading times - regardless of hardware capabilities. These may detract from the overall experience, but the updates offer some improvement over the original.
