The Dragon Age series is one of my favorites and has greatly influenced my taste in games. My love for it stems from its wonderful stories, human characters, and engaging gameplay. Each installment offered something unique, and even with their own set of problems, I loved them all without exception.
Ten years after the release of Inquisition, the series returns with its highly anticipated fourth installment, The Veilguard. Frankly, I was very apprehensive about its placement, especially given the news and information surrounding it over the past year, including the title change from Dreadwolf, statements from developers expressing their dislike for the series, and disappointing gameplay videos. Unfortunately, my fears were well-founded.
