SmoothVideo Project utilizes GPU acceleration, enabling the playback of 1080p videos converted to 60Hz in real-time, even on mid-range CPUs and virtually any GPU hardware. While SmoothVideo Project is not a standalone video player, it facilitates smooth video playback across nearly all media players, including support for 3D content.
